Titled 'A Summer Garden', I designed this little piece to evoke memories of summer in an English garden full of the scent of flowers and the lazy sound of the bees buzzing from flower to flower. It is made from vintage and repurposed fabrics, chosen to represent the flower garden itself and also the greenery and the sun and sky. Most of the fabrics are vintage Laura Ashley from the 70s and 80s with a few pieces salvaged from old items of clothing.
A truly unique one of a kind piece. An ideal gift for a quilter, patchwork enthusiast or vintage fabric lover.
